Fridays with MPK April 2, 2021

Today is not a happy Friday, but a Good one. As we remember once again the awful, terrible death that Jesus endured on the cross to pay the punishment for our sin, we sing one of our latest originals, “For the Joy,” based on Hebrews 12:2, which says, “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” That joy looked beyond the cross to see you, if you will turn from your own sinful way and trust in Him, living with Him for eternity in heaven. There’s no better day than today to call on Him and give your heart and life to Jesus Christ our Savior!
